ABOUT ME

Nikolayevsk, the artistic name of Guilherme Augusto, is a Brazilian progressive power metal guitarist. Influenced since his teenage years by bands such as Angra, Almah, Dr.Sin, and acts like Dream Theater and Symphony X, he developed a sound that bridges classic shred and contemporary progressive metal. His EP "DARK WEB" features original compositions with drums by Jean Gardinalli (Edu Falaschi, ex-Angra), as well as an 8-string metal reinterpretation of a Tom Jobim piece. Nikolayevsk plays a custom 7-string guitar handmade by Santini Luthier, while the project's visual identity is created by his wife Haruna Lamberti, a visual artist and dancer who is his main artistic inspiration.
